Arrival testing will be mandatory for undergraduate students living in university residential housing at the University of Missouri. School officials announced the requirement earlier today. Arrival testing will be optional for undergraduate living off of campus. Undergraduates who reside in university housing can meet the arrival test requirement in three different ways. They can get tested in their current place of residence no more than five days before arriving in Columbia. If they arrive in Columbia without a valid test result, they can register for a test at a clinic that will be open temporarily on campus. Students must have a test to remain in university housing. Any student who has tested positive for COVID-19 on or after October 15, 2020 and can supply documentation of their positive result won’t need to test before returning. Additionally, students who have been living in university housing during their winter break can sign up to test during the full week before spring classes start.
