Arrest Made in Ashland Shooting

A man suspected of shooting at Ashland Police earlier this week was located and taken into custody Thursday s morning. According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, just after 10:30, 29-year-old Eusebio Daniel Barajas-Real, of Ashland was arrested by Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies in the 100 Block of East Liberty Lane in Ashland. Efforts to locate him had been ongoing since this incident occurred at approximately 11 Tuesday evening. He was arrested for assault on a special victim, armed criminal action, and property damage, all related to the shooting incident. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court related to traffic and other misdemeanors.
