An Armstrong man was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Howard County Monday night. According to the State Highway Patrol, 30-year old Ethan Fuemmeler was pronounced dead at the scene by the Coroner. The accident occured on Route 5, two miles south of the Route 3 junction just after 9:00. Fuemmeler’s vehicle crossed the center line and went into the path of a truck driven by 62-year old Philip Dicus of Salisbury. The report states Dicus attempted to avoid the collision by exiting the roadway, but Fuemmeler swerved off the road as well and the two vehicles crashed head on. Dicus was not injured.
