Game 12: #6 Faulkner (AL) vs. #2 CMU 8:30 pm (delayed: 10:45pm) CMU 4-3 (Starting pitcher Mason Schwellenbach hit his 12th home run of the season in a three-run first inning. Faulkner tied the game in the bottom of the 4th. CMU regained the lead in the 7th thanks to three Faulkner errors. Deshawn Cole singled home the go-ahead run. Schwellenbach struck out nine over seven innings to get the win. He gave up one earned run. The Eagles will play Georgia Gwinnett in a winner’s bracket game Tuesday night at 8:30 central time.
