Area Deer Hunters Reminded to Check Equipment Before Start of Firearms Season

The biggest hunting weekend in Missouri is just a week away. The November portion of the state’s firearms deer season begins November 11th and runs through the 21st. Shelby County Conservation Agent Kevin Lockard says it’s important for hunters to check their firearms before heading to the woods.

Lockard adds hunters should also check the rest of their deer equipment.

Hunters should replace any equipment that is damaged before going deer hunting.
