Archery Range Coming to Macon

An agreement between the City of Macon and the Missouri Department of Conservation will create an archery range in the city. This project goes along with a cooperative management project for Macon City Lake and Blees Lake. Mayor Tony Petre details the archery portion.

The city’s recreation and transportation department, along with the public works department, will provide construction services. Petre says they have a vision for the archery range.

The Macon archery range is expected to open by mid-summer.
