Archery Deer Season Continuing

There are still a couple of weeks remaining in the archery deer season. Lt. Ric Bishop with the Missouri Department of Conservation says hunters need to keep safety in mind.

Bishop says with the crossbows being allowed now, more hunters are taking advantage of the archery season.

And while the tendency may be to take the hunter orange hat off when you are leaving the woods, Bishop says it needs to stay on.

The archery deer season continues through January 15th.
