April Election Preview

Local boards and councils will highlight the area’s General Municipal Election Tuesday. Some local issues voters will decide include propositions in the Boone County school districts of Centralia, Hallsville, and Harrisburg. In Chariton County, the community of Mendon has a couple propositions and the City of Salisbury has a transportation tax. The Linn County ballot is full, including Proposition Bulldogs in the Brookfield School District, a pair of propositions in the City of Brookfield, Meadville Proposition 2, and the Linn County Law Enforcement Sales Tax. In Shelby County, Clarence voters will decide on a pair of propositions and Shelbyville puts a tax question before voters.

Polls will be open Tuesday from 6am until 7pm. As the results come in, we will have election reports from 8-10pm on KRES and centralmoinfo.com.
