Another Randolph County Route 3 Closure Coming

Just when it seemed there was a light at the end of the tunnel for travelers inconvenienced by the Route 3 detour in Randolph County, some more bad news came. Randolph County Presiding Commissioner Sid Conklin delivered the news on KWIXland This Morning last week….

Conklin said the Commissioners have expressed concerns to MoDOT…..

Route 3 between Highway 24 and Route BB in Randolph County has been closed for two years due to concerns over a slide. On our last MoDOT program in March, Area Engineer Amy Crawford said construction could begin as soon as June and the current completion date for the Route 3 project is December 1st.
