Another NCAA Division II conference has delayed the start of fall sports with hopes of still playing this fall. The Great American Conference Council of Presidents unanimously approved a plan to delay the start of all intercollegiate athletic practices until the week of August 31, with the launch of competition postponed until the week of September 28. Earlier this week, the MIAA approved a similar plan. The Great Lakes Valley Conference is bracketed by those two leageus but has not released any updated plan for the fall at this time, although administrators have been in discussions.

Up-to-date, there are 10 NCAA Division II conferences that have suspended all sports in the fall and looking toward January 2021, five conferences have delayed the start of fall play by a few weeks and eight conference and still to be determined.
