ANNUAL VETERANS DAY PARADE SATURDAY IN MOBERLY

The 15th annual Veterans’ Day Parade sponsored by VFW Post 2654 in Moberly will take place Saturday at 1pm downtown. President of the VFW Auxiliary Post 2654, Elaine Avery, says veterans interested in participating in the parade still have the opportunity to register.
While veterans are encouraged to register as soon as possible, registration will be open and available until the start of the parade. Volunteers will also be available to drive veterans in the parade. Avery says the parade will follow the same route as in years past.
Following the parade, there will be a program held at VFW Post 2654. The program’s guest speaker will be retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Everet Kincheloe. The Grand Marshal for this year’s parade will be Wayne Wilcox.
