Annual Macon Cattlemen’s Youth Scholarship Banquet This Saturday

The 23rd Annual Macon County Cattlemen’s Youth Scholarship Banquet is this Saturday night at 6 at the Macon County Expo Center in Macon. The event includes a prime rib dinner, Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament and a live auction. Macon County Cattlemen’s Association member Aaron Baker says the dinner provides a great bargain.
The dinner will begin the night’s activities. More than 315 thousand dollars have been raised for local scholarships through the banquet.
Baker was among the first recipients of these scholarships more than 20 years ago. While tickets are still available, Baker advises purchasing them as soon as possible.
Former scholarship recipients and local 4-H and FFA members will be recognized at the banquet.
