Annie’s Project Celebrating 20 Years Of Empowering Women in Agriculture

Over 19,000 women have taken part in a series of courses aimed at strengthening their role on the family farm and in the world of agriculture through Annie’s Project.  The program is turning 20 this year, and co-CEO Karisha Devlin looks back on the program’s development.

Devlin says Ruth Hambleton drew inspiration for Annie’s Project from the experiences of Hambleton’s mother, the namesake of the program.

Annie’s Project co-CEO Karisha Devlin is an agribusiness specialist at the University of Missouri Extension’s office in Knox County.  MU Extension will host a celebration for Annie’s Project in Novelty on April 1st.
