Amid Coronavirus Concerns, Missouri House Works to Pass Budget

While the Missouri Senate is out of session until March 30th, the Missouri House of Representatives is working to pass its version of the budget. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch of Hallsville…
The House budget is expected to total $30 billion. The budget may have to be an amended budget due to the potential economic impact from the coronavirus. Toalson Reisch says this may force the House to not pass a full budget.
Toalson Reisch also wants to remind Missourians to practice good hygiene to prevent the spread of the virus. In addition, she and other legislators ask groups planning to visit the capitol to call ahead or avoid visiting at this time.
