Altrusa and Moberly Parks and Recreation are hosting the 37th year of Christmas in the Park in Rothwell Park. Altrusa’s Kristee Ornburn and Lori Trusty joined KWIXLand This Morning last week.

The event is free and takes place near The Lodge. Ornburn says the event is adding new animal figures as well as a memorial forest.

Ornburn says Kiwanis donated a new tree for the event at the front of the park. The drive-thru display will be open starting with Sunday night’s kickoff through December 23rd nightly from 5-9pm. Altrusa members will be stationed near The Lodge and will accept donations.
