Agribusiness Academy To Feature Sessions At Capitol, State Fair

High school sophomores selected for this June’s Missouri Agribusiness Academy will take in more than just a tour of a major city.  Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn says students will spend time at the state capitol and learn about the importance of interacting with elected leaders.

The 30 students selected for this summer’s academy will also take part in areas of the Missouri State Fair that they might not have experienced as project exhibitors.

Five high school sophomores will be selected from each of six regions around the state.  The deadline to submit applications for the Missouri Agribusiness Academy is February 1st.
