Despite lean times in the farm economy made leaner by the corona virus pandemic, ag equipment manufacturers are continuing to press on to serve the needs of American farmers. Curt Blades, senior vice president for agriculture and forestry with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, says the manufacturers are considered critical.

Blades notes that while some slowdowns could occur in production, manufacturers are seeking to minimize their impact.


At least 200 of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ 11-hundred member companies specialize in the production of ag equipment.
