December 23, 2019 6:26AM CST
A one-time Southern Boone teacher will now lead Missouri Farm Bureau’s education and promotion efforts. Jennifer Poindexter will lead the group’s efforts to increase ag education in the classroom. Her duties will include partnering with schools and teachers across the state to promote curriculum and experiences that explore issues related to agriculture. Poindexter lives with her husband on a farm in Montgomery County and was most recently an ag teacher and FFA adviser at Union. She takes over for Diane Olson, who is retiring at the end of the month.
