Ag Dept Staff Observes Discussions At Farm Bureau

The Missouri Department of Agriculture is spending the winter visiting state commodity and farm group meetings. Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn said it’s part of the Reach More objective of hearing from Missouri farmers.
That included this week’s Missouri Farm Bureau annual meeting in Osage Beach, where department leaders observed discussions on the group’s policy objectives for the year ahead.
Chinn says the next stop on the tour is January 11th at the Missouri Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show in Columbia. The Reach More tour is taking the place of the Governor’s Conference on Agriculture. Chinn says the next conference is scheduled for November 19th and 20th.
