Adopt-A-Highway Helps Both Participants and MoDOT

Stretches of Missouri roadways are available for businesses and groups wishing to help with roadside cleanup. Area Engineer Brian Untiedt says all the materials needed are provided, and it’s not a massive committment of time.
Untiedt also says that one-mile stretches of road may not be available in the same direct area as the group or business adopting a highway, but that the designated area will generally be easy to reach. The work is also beneficial for both MoDOT and the state.
