A Sturgeon woman received serious injuries from an accident on Highway 63 two-and-a-half miles north of Clark at 7:15 Wednesday night. The State Highway Patrol reports a car driven by 40-year old Bonni Arnold began sliding on the ice covered roadway and struck a bridge rail. Arnold was taken to Moberly for treatment.

Another accident occured near the same location on 63 around the same time. The Patrol reports a pickup driven by 18-year old Alexander McConnell of Moberly lost control on the ice covered roadway, struck a guard rail and ran off the road. McConnell and his passenger, a 17-year old (no name-juvenile), received moderate injuries and were taken to Moberly for treatment.
