6th Ranked Bulldogs Start a 3-Game Road Trip at UIS

The 6th ranked Truman men’s basketball team starts a three-game road swing at Illinois-Springfield Thursday night. Despite a 19-day layoff due to quarantine, the Bulldogs came back with a pair of double-digit victories last week to run their winning streak to seven and their record to 12-1. ‘Dogs coach Jeff Horner said practices this week balanced the work his team needed with not too much work….

Horner and Truman continue to lead the GLVC Point Rating System rankings by a season-high three-quarters of a point. Former Bulldog Matt Brock is in his second season leading Illinois-Springfield. The Prairie Stars are 7-8. Moberly High School graduate and former MACC Greyhound Will Rucker has appeared in nine games for UIS after sitting out last year with injury.
