Missouri Farmers Care announced this month that Caldwell County became the latest to receive its Agri-Ready certification. Executive Director Ashley McCarty explains how the Northwest Missouri county was able to attain the designation.

MFC first launched the program in late 2015, recognizing counties whose ordinances are considered friendly to agriculture and related industries. McCarty says that counties are reviewed every two years and so far, everyone has retained their designation.

In addition to Caldwell, Missouri Farmers Care certified Macon County as Agri-Ready for the first time this year.
