36th Annual Northeast Missouri Old Threshers Show Showcases Old And New Traditions

The 36th Annual Northeast Missouri Old Threshers Show begins Thursday in Shelbina. A tractor ride at 9 Thursday morning will kick off the festivities. Other events on the first day include a fish fry, baby show and bluegrass in the steam shed. Show Secretary Jenna Begley provides Friday’s schedule.

Activities continue through the weekend with an Exhibitor’s Pull Saturday morning at 8.

The show concludes Sunday afternoon with a CMOTA Tractor Pull at 1. A steam train that dates back a century will run every day of the show, except for Sunday.

Admission for the entire show, including the concert, is 12 dollars for adults. Children 12 and under are free. We will have reports from the show Friday morning on KRES.
