Work is continuing on the Milan School District’s Better MC-2 Project 2020. The project involves the construction of a new cafeteria, gymnasium, and library-media center. Milan Superintendent Dr. Ben Yocom says this project could delay the start of the 2020-21 school year.
Potential start dates were discussed during the December meeting of the Milan School Board. Yocom says several different factors in the coming weeks will determine the start date.
A decision on a start date and academic calendar for the 2020-21 school year will be determined at either the January or February Milan School Board meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for January 15th.
