WESTRAN DROPS IN LATEST STATE FOOTBALL RANKINGS-CCC STRONG IN CLASS 2

Westran’s loss to Carrollton Friday caused the Hornets to drop from second to tenth in Class 1 in this week’s statewide media football poll. Carrollton gets into the top ten at eighth. Marceline climbed one slot to sixth, and Milan and Paris both received votes. In Class 2, Cardinal Ritter beat Lutheran North to overtake the top spot, and Centralia switched places with Clark County with the Panthers win Friday. Centralia climbed two spots to sixth, and Clark County dropped two spots to eighth. Palmyra and Macon remained ninth and tenth respectively, with Hallsville and Monroe City getting votes. Blair Oaks stays on top of Class 3, with Southern Boone remaining sixth, Boonville climbing one spot to eighth, and Moberly getting votes. Helias is getting votes in Class 4. Battle climbed one spot to seventh in Class 5. Rock Bridge dropped four spots to eighth in Class 6.
