RAIN FINALLY GOING AWAY THIS WEEK

After a damp start to May, temperatures are expected to increase this week, allowing Missouri farmers the chance to dry out and perhaps finally plant some corn. State climatologist Pat Guinan says we’re in the midst of an unsettled weather pattern.

However, Guinan suggests that the unsettled pattern will continue next week with severe weather and rain returning to the forecast.

Temperatures in the mid to upper 80s this week will be at least five degrees above normal.
