The Denver Broncos traded up to draft former Missouri QB Drew Lock with the 42nd overall pick and 10th pick of the second round in the NFL Draft Friday. Lock was the fourth quarterback taken in the draft, with Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray going first overall to the Arizona Cardinals, Duke’s Daniel Jones going sixth to the New York Giants and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins going 15th to the Washington Redskins. Lock was considered by many analysts as a favorite to be drafted in the first round but teams cited accuracy issues as the reason for his slip. Lock finished his Missouri career with 12,193 passing yards and 99 passing touchdowns, as well as 437 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns.
