SALISBURY TRAVELS TO HARRISBURG AHEAD OF NEXT WEEK’S DISTRICT MATCHUP

A week before they face off in the first round of districts, Salisbury travels to Harrisburg Tuesday night in a late-season Lewis and Clark game. The 6-13 Harrisburg boys got back on a winning track last weekend after losing three straight. And with bad weather canceling games for nearly two weeks, Bulldogs head coach Kyle Fisher says there have been some challenges.

The 7-13 Salisbury Panthers also had a large break between games due to weather, forcing them to now have four games in four days. Head coach Kenny Wyatt says it’s going to be a test for his young team.

On the girls’ side, the 3-18 Lady Bulldogs are riding a two-game winning streak after losing 15 straight. Head coach Ryan Richardson says he sees improvement from his team.

The Lady Panthers come in at 16-4 and were recently named the top seed in their district bracket. Head coach Wade Billington says he doesn’t want his team getting too ahead of themselves just yet.
