TRUMAN ROAD TRIP CONTINUES ALONG THE OHIO RIVER WITH THE SCREAMING EAGLES

The Truman basketball teams continue their grueling 2019-opening road swing to the Ohio River, to face Southern Indiana and Bellarmine this week. The Bulldogs will start with the Screaming Eagles in Evansville Thursday night. The Southern Indiana women have won all three conference games and are 10-3. Truman coach Amy Eagan sizes up USI….

The Truman women dropped out of the WBCA Division 2 Top 25 this week, but are still receiving votes with a record of 12-2. The Bulldogs are 3-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.



It’s early, but the Truman men were at the top of the GLVC Point Rating System which will determine the top eight teams that advance to the postseason conference tournament. ‘Dogs coach Jeff Horner isn’t sure how, but will take it….

The Bulldogs dropped their first conference game at Indianapolis on Saturday. Redshirt freshman post Cade McKnight had 22 points and eight rebounds….

Horner’s Bulldogs are 8-6 and 3-1 in the GLVC. Southern Indiana is 9-4 and 1-2 in the conference. The Screaming Eagles are led by returning all-GLVC guard Alex Stein, who is averaging 20 points per game.
