Missourians defeated Proposition D last November, which would have raised the state’s fuel tax by 10 cents in the span of four years to help improve Missouri’s roads. MoDOT Area Engineer Brian Haeffner discusses what’s next for the department.
While the budget will remain unchanged with the failed vote, Haeffner says they’ll have to continue to find a balance of maintaining roads, and clearing them in a timely manner. He used the blizzard a couple weeks ago as an example.
Haeffner joins us on KWIXLand This Morning each month.
