A celebration of Walt Disney and everything cartoons will be taking place Saturday in Marceline. The famous animator spent four years of his early life in Marceline where he found his love of drawing. Richard Switzer spoke with Regional Radio about what ToonFest is all about.

The event has been going on in Marceline for the last 20 years, bringing in cartoonists from all over the United States. This year, there will be four guests coming to talk, that include a cartoonists, a sculptor, and a writer. Switzer’s hope is that people can learn a lot from the guests.
