ONE DEAD, TWO SERIOUSLY INJURED IN ACCIDENT SOUTH OF SALISBURY

One is dead, and two are seriously injured after an accident on Highway 129, south of Salisbury. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says at 9:35am Thursday, 21-year-old Abudu Kagina of Columbia was traveling southbound on the highway, passing several cars, and struck the car of 73-year-old Patricia Whitley of Salisbury, who was in the process of making a left turn. Whitley was pronounced dead at a Columbia care center. The passengers in her car, 20-year-old Brandon Huff of Salisbury, and Estella Lewis of Glasgow each suffered serious injuries and were transported to Columbia. Kagina suffered no injuries.
