In a Lewis and Clark Conference matchup, the Scotland County girls and boys teams will travel to Salisbury tonight (Friday) for a double-header game. The Salisbury boys find themselves coming into the matchup having won seven of their last eight games and head coach Kenny Wyatt discusses the improved play.

Senior Garrett Fessler leads the Panthers in scoring, and along with senior forward Gavin Ramsey lead the offensive charge on the team. Scotland County is riding a three-game losing streak, and is trying to find its first win since December 16th.

On the girls side, a young Lady Tigers team is getting ready to face a streaking Salisbury team that has won seven of its last eight games. The Lady Panthers are led in scoring by sophomore Bryn Wooldridge who’s averaging more than 16 points per game and has scored 21 points in each of her last two games. Coach Cory Schultz and the Lady Tigers are coming off a win against Westran.

The Scotland County and Salisbury double-header starts with pregame coverage for the girl’s game at 5:45pm and the boy’s game at 7:15pm on KRES and Regional Radio’s Ben Wittenstein will have the call.
