A Columbia man was charged in federal court Tuesday for possessing meth with the intent to distribute. 31-year-old Gary Deangelo Warren was arrested after a confidential informant told police he had sold at least eight ounces of meth a day to Warren for the past two months. Investigators set up a meeting between Warren and the informant Monday, resulting in Warren’s arrest when he arrived.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Lawrence Miller is now prosecuting the case. The Columbia Police Department and DEA also assisted in the investigation.
