The rubber game of the season series between Truman and Quincy Thursday night in St. Charles will decide which team advances to the semi-finals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference women’s postseason tournament. The Bulldogs won the matchup in Kirksville 65-62 in December. The 22nd ranked Hawks won on their home floor by 12 just one week ago. Hawks 1st team all-GLVC guard Maggie Cunningham scored 23 points on her senior night to help beat Truman and was named the conference’s player of the week.

The Bulldogs landed two seniors on the all-conference teams this week. Courtney Strait was named to the 2nd team and Michaelina Tomczak was a 3rd team selection. For a team that has been top 10 nationally all season in scoring defense, coach Eagan says their contributions are more apparent in the win column….
