15 Positives Announced in Shelby County

On Friday, the Shelby County Health Department announced 15 new positive cases of the coronavirus. According to a news release, these cases are associated with a congregate living facility in Shelby County. All close contacts are being notified and will be placed in quarantine according to CDC guidelines. Health Department staff are working in coordination with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to determine any close contacts of the individuals who were possibly exposed. If there were any, health officials will provide guidance to these individuals and monitor them closely for the development of symptoms.
