MACON SENATE DEBATE CANCELLED

Goodradio has learned that the Republican Primary Senate Debate in Macon scheduled for this Sunday has been canceled. The debate was to feature Congressman Roy Blunt, State Senator Chuck Purguson, Hector Maldonado and Kristi Nichols..
The debate was sponsored by the Macon County Patriots. The groups president Sally Weber said the debate was cancelled because of "issues within the campaigns."
The primary election is next Tuesday.
