The Canton girls basketball team is coming off one the most successful runs in program history, and it will look to a new head coach to continue that momentum next season.
Carie Logsdon has been tapped as the new coach of the Lady Tigers. She replaces the winningest girls hoops coach in Canton history, Seth Minter, who boasted a career winning percentage of .856. Minter made a jump to the collegiate ranks to take the head job at Culver-Stockton, his alma mater.
Coach Logsdon has some experience as coach of Canton's junior high team, and realizes the quick pace the team used under Minter will need to change next season.....

Logsdon will have a young team to work with, and won't have the 23 points per game the team's leading scorer, Tori Niemann, provided as a senior last year.
She says how the Lady Tigers start the year won't be nearly as crucial as the finish.....

Kristyn Caldwell and Monica Campen figure to be Canton's two returning seniors from a team that ended the season 4th in Class 2.
