A Huntsville man is facing felony charges after receiving serious injuries in a one vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Randolph County. According to the Highway Patrol, 27 year-old Douglas Jaecques was eastbound on County Road 11-15, 2 miles west of Huntsville at 12:47pm Sunday afternoon, when the vehicle he was driving travelled off the north side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle. Two Columbia residents, along with two Hannibal residents were arrested Saturday evening as a result of a search warrant executed by the Boone County Sherriff's Department. According the report, at 6:15 pm Saturday, officers served the warrant at 3251 North Locust Grove Church Road in Boone County after information was obtained from witnesses reporting suspicious activity by the tenants at that address. Two volunteer groups, and several Columbia residents gathered Saturday in Columbia to launch a campaign to get two measures on the November ballot. One group, calling themselves Volunteers for Missourians for Responsible Lending would like to see an interest cap on payday loans in the Show-Me state.
