STATE-RANKED SHOWDOWNS IN COLUMBIA ON SUNDAY

Four teams that are currently ranked #1 in their respective classes will be featured during our coverage of the MFA Oil-Break Time Shootout at Mizzou Arena this Sunday on KRES.

The only girls game of the event, featuring perennial powers Harrisburg and Marion County, starts our coverage at 11:30am. The defending state champion Lady Mustangs are #1 in Class One this season and the Lady Bulldogs, which won a title two years ago, are the #1 team in Class Two.

After winning its 2010 championship at Mizzou Arena, Harrisburg was upset in the state playoffs last year by Clopton. Coach Dan Bachmeier says getting back to the final four in Columbia this March is his team's goal..............

Coach Mike Johnson says his team will need to take care of the ball and fight hard on the boards to beat the Lady Bulldogs..........
