MOBERLY AND BOONVILLE GIRLS PLAY FOR 1ST IN NCMC

The final NCMC matchup between the Moberly and Boonville girls has major conference championship implications. Moberly sits 7-1 in the NCMC with Boonville 10-0, so the Lady Spartans can tie the Lady Pirates in the loss column while Boonville can clinch the conference title Tuesday. Moberly lost to Boonville in overtime December 14th, but head coach Tony Vestal says the 15-5 Lady Spartans enter the road matchup with added confidence.

The Lady Pirates average almost 16 steals per game. Junior Jamie Lemmons boasts averages of 13 points and eight rebounds per game. Boonville has won or shared the NCMC championship four straight years.
